Equipment

Checking out equipment is as simple as following the club's policies on renting. You must read all policies first! To sustain our gear inventory and ensure its upkeep, a nominal fee is charged for both trip participation and independent gear rentals. While wet suits and roof-rack rentals are free, they can be taken with boards only. In other words, there is no wetsuit rental without a board rental. Here is the renting fee schedule for the club equipment.

The club has a full complement of equipment available for rental to club members only. Some of this equipment is designed for beginners and is relatively sturdy, while we also have more advanced and expensive equipment reserved for the pros. Club members are encouraged only to check out equipment that they are capable of handling! All club equipment is stored in the clubhouse by the Brown Gym. Latest equipment might not be updated here, so do not hesitate to contact us if you are looking for anything specific.

• 8', 9', and 10' foam boards for beginners
• 6', 6'6", and 7' fun boards (foam) for intermediate surfers
• 8' 6", 9', and 10' soft top boards for intermediate surfers
• 8' to 10' polyester and epoxy longboards for expert surfers
• a variety of fiberglass shortboards for expert surfers
• leashes for all board lengths

The club has a full suit of windsurfing boards, rigs, and accessories. The items include:

• >5 high volume beginner boards with daggerboards
• 2-3 mid volume boards with and without daggerboards
• >8 low volume advance board for flat water and open ocean riding
• 10-15 rigs ranging from 3 sq.m. to 8 sq.m.
• accessories: mast feet, rigging tools, fins, harnesses, life jackets

The club has all of the accessories you need to get out on the water, including:

• FCS D-ring soft racks for board transportation
• a full suite of men's and women's wetsuits
  • all wetsuits are 3/2mm, back zip, full body wetsuits
• a sea kayak and paddles
• buckets for gear/wetsuit transportation and washing
